Villa Pisani, also known as the Nazionale, is one of the most famous examples of a Venetian villa on the Riviera del Brenta. In its 114 rooms it has hosted doges, kings and emperors, and today it is a national museum that preserves furnishings and works of art from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, including the masterpiece by Gianbattista Tiepolo "Glory of the Pisani family", frescoed on the ceiling of the majestic Ballroom. Yesterday as today, its park enchants for its scenic views, the original architecture, from the Coffee House to the Esedra, the famous hedge labyrinth, one of the most important in Europe, the precious collection of citrus fruits in the Orangery and of plants and flowers in the Tropical Greenhouses.
