The Wapelbad is one of the few recreational destinations in Gütersloh. Since the beginning of the last century, citizens of Gütersloh have found a way to spend their free time and, by the way, learn to swim in the Wapel. Today, the Wapelbad is again a playground for young and old and next to "the Baden" there is also a colorful cultural program. The Wapelbad is more than just an oasis of relaxation in the Gütersloh south-west. With its regular events, it constantly sets new cultural highlights for Gütersloh and its surroundings.
