From a small parking lot at the Heerte exit in the direction of Gebhardshagen, a steep wooden staircase leads to an approx. 20-meter-high dam that borders the lake in three directions. Once at the top, an information board indicates the approximately 6-kilometer circular route around the entire former sewage pond. Incidentally, the staircase cleverly inserted into the tree belt is an Expo project that was implemented by BBS Fredenberg.
