Hiking
Alpe Fontane was an intermediate pasture used before climbing the highest Sangiatto meadows. The seasonal ascent of the herds to the high pastures is still regulated by municipal edicts. At the beginning of summer, between the end of June and July, the Municipality issues a "cry" authorizing the shepherds to let their cattle out of the private fenced land and to use the common pastures.
