Unfortunately only open from mid-June 2021 ... like all huts above 1000m, there was a lot of snow until mid-May. Many hiking trails are still impassable. At the moment you have to be very sure-footed and experienced in mountain hiking. A lot of broken wood that makes the already strenuous climb impassable ...! We did it, but you have to be able to climb freely, otherwise it won't work! It's the PES turn, but a huge amount of broken wood has to be removed! Sometimes you have to overcome glacier tongues. Risk of death!!!
