Mountain biking

Once you have climbed the tower you will find that it was worth it. You can see all the prominent elevations, such as the Gleichberge, the Straufhain, the Bleßberg, the Veste Coburg and many more. Cross-country skiing

The Turmbaude am Rennsteig is located in the middle of the Eselsberg. When the sun is shining and the view is clear, the ascent is worth it (1 euro, turnstile) and you have a wonderful view over the Thuringian Forest.
