The national Cuban system of baseball does not consist of a single league, but it is a superstructure of various leagues and series under the umbrella of the Cuban Baseball Federation. The federation organizes the national championships and selection for the Cuban baseball national team. The players are amateurs and play in those provinces where they live. All Cuban provinces are represented by at least one team.
