Strömstad Cold Bathhouse

The cold bath house in Strömstad is located along the promenade in central Strömstad.
The current cold bath house is the third to be built. The first was located at Bojarkilen and was active in the 18th century.
The second was given a slightly more central location in the southern harbor. This was built in 1887 and demolished in 1967.
Today's cold bath house is beautifully situated facing the North Sea and was inaugurated in June 2005.
Before the summer season 2015, a sun deck of about 150 sqm was built over the inner pool. This opens up for many more sun worshipers and can also be used for group training sessions, such as yoga, sh´bam etc.
In June 2018, a new free weight gym was inaugurated.
