Cycling
Plantation Willem III is now a nature reserve, formerly a tobacco plantation. The latter had been laid out here by William Ruys in 1853. Quite a rarity in this area: in the vicinity there are still some characteristic barns in which the tobacco leaves were dried. In early 1900, however, tobacco production in the region became less profitable and eventually ceased.
