The basin belongs to the Glems pumped storage plant. The power plant consists of a lower pool with a power house and this upper pool, which is 283 m (medium head) higher. These two pools are connected by a 1415 m long running water pipe with a diameter of 3 m. The upper pool has a circular dam up to 19.5 m high. It is sealed with asphalt on the inside, both on the slope and on the bottom of the pool.
