From Naraun on the way to St. Hippolyt, the Narauner Weiher lies in a small clearing at the foot of the climbing wall of St. Hippolyt. The dark pond with its small floating island is a biotope for insects and frogs. Its moor water has a low sulfur content, so that the small pond is suitable for nature lovers for a soothing bath, but does not emit any sulfur smell. Numerous legends about its origins, which were passed down orally from generation to generation, surround the small Narauner pond.
