The wooden structure has a span of 29 meters; it bridges the Suhre without a central pillar. The city is the builder, reluctantly. The bridge costs around 550,000 francs. The judge had to decide who should pay for the replacement of the old, dilapidated footbridge. The city lost out to the canton.
