Tips
Aiguèze is a commune of 216 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) in the Gard department in the Occitania region. It belongs to the Arrondissement Nîmes and to the canton of Pont-Saint-Esprit.
It has been classified since 2005 as one of the plus beaux villages de France (most beautiful villages in France)
The village with its alleyways and places, the ruins of the hospital, the medieval towers, the painted nave, and the wide panorama over the Ardèche between its gorge and the Rhone Valley to the silhouette of Mont Ventoux in Provence.
