right on the Rennstieg, but unfortunately this section is currently difficult to pass by bike! Simply leave tree trimming and path completely disintegrated with heavy equipment (mud without end)

The Dreiherrenstein marks the boundaries of the Kingdom of Prussia (KP), the Duchy of Coburg-Gotha (HCG) and the Grand Duchy of Weimar-Eisenach (GWE).The rather unobtrusive stone is about 50 meters away from the Rennstieg and again very easy to reach (Sept. 2018).

The Dreiherrenstein can be reached on a short detour from the Rennstieg. Despite the many windbreaks, it is easily accessible on the uneven cul-de-sac. The Dreiherrenstein and an information board explain the history of the border and the importance of the stone (handover from traders, for example).
