Hiking
St Michael's Church is a spacious structure of flint and stone, standing on the south aide of the town, on an elevated site. The building was commenced in the reign of Edward III (1327 – 1377). It was afterwards greatly enlarged, particularly in the reign of Henry VIII when the roof was heightened and the south aisle built.

Hiking
The church is of a typical construction like many buildings from the time when such structures were being built. Well preserved, it is pleasing to the eye.
