Neoclassical buildings line this circular space where all the streets converge. A strictly structured park fills the inner ring of the square, whose center is marked by a towering obelisk. The Circus Putbus is considered the last uniformly executed Rondelplatz in Germany, the Prince Wilhelm Malte I. in connection with the founding of the Pädagogium after the model of the "circus" in the English bathing resort of Bath and French installations from 1828 create and essentially until 1845 with Classicist Remodeled houses. All the buildings that were built by Prince Malte I are still there today, but the buildings were given different tasks. The Royal Pädagogium Putbus housed until 2014, the IT College Putbus. The Nebenalumnat of the Royal Pedagogy, which was built in 1835 by Schiffer Wilcken, is now the headquarters of the IT Science Center.Source: Wikipedia
