Mount Serra is the highest peak of the small sub-Apennine mountain range of the Monti Pisani which extend for about twenty kilometers northeast of Pisa and southwest of Lucca, in fact playing the role of natural border between the two provinces.
The summit can be reached starting from Calci, Buti and Sant'Andrea di Compito and on clear days you can enjoy a beautiful view of Pisa, Livorno and the various islands, even reaching Corsica.
Its streets are very popular with road bike lovers and on its numerous trails mountain biking is practiced especially Enduro / Downhill

Monte Serra reachable from 3 sides, Pieve di Compito, Calci and Buti in order according to the difficulty. On clear winter and some summer days you can see as far as Corsica.
