If you are looking for peace and quiet and something original, the Örgenbauernalm is the right place to enjoy it. The lovely and rustic alpine hut not only offers a great view over the Saalfeld basin.
Here you can also get a good snack made mostly from the farm's own organic products and every Saturday is "Bladl Day". Bladl are a local speciality that you should definitely try. If you are travelling with an e-bike you can charge it here.
