Tips
The community, which emerged from a medieval castle complex, is located in the Val Neva on the southern slopes of the Rocca Barbena. The Castello dei Clavesana was built by the Clavesana family in the Middle Ages and was badly damaged during the siege by Genoese soldiers in 1672.
