The Ferrata "Sci Club 18" is a demanding via ferrata that winds its way through the wall of the Crepe di Faloria, right next to the Cortina - Faloria cable car. This difficult and exposed via ferrata opens up a spectacular panorama over the entire Ampezzo basin. For the via ferrata the Cortina mountain guides used 700 m of steel cable and more than 300 pens.

Very beautiful, challenging via ferrata with a lot of breathtaking views and many beautiful spots in the rock.

People with little via ferrata experience will have to pull themselves up on the steel cable most of the time. This works well, but (fingerless) gloves are recommended. Even for experienced climbers there are places that cannot be safely climbed into the rock. There are many very exposed spots, so not for the faint of heart.

The via ferrata itself is appealing and, due to the repeated upswings, certainly requires a lot of endurance, although you can take breaks at any time. It's exposed in places, but I never found it too strenuous. The ever-visible cable car cables (which, for example, won't be running in the summer of 2025) often make you think you're almost at the top, but it drags on anyway. Unfortunately, the cable car cables also interfere with the photos you take. The northwest orientation ensures that the route is mostly in the shade. This has both advantages and disadvantages.
