Monte Peglia divides the Orvieto valley from that of Todi. It is 830 m high and houses numerous antennas for telecommunications, starting with that of the RAI in 1953 (one of the first antennas of the Italian radio and television system).

For the balance between nature and human presence, M.A.B (Man and Biosphere) has been proclaimed by UNESCO. It lies between the park of the same name and that of the Selva di Meana.
