Tips

The Schachenhaus lies in 1867 meters height below the royal house at the Schachen. The cozy hut is managed throughout the summer and offers food from the farm's own and regional products. You can also stay here, blankets are provided, you do not have to bring anything. The next morning a delicious breakfast awaits you, the view of the surrounding mountains is free as soon as the sun rises. To be expected, it is advisable to book in advance. Great view to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the surrounding area. If you want to go further, you can go to the Meiler Hütte (only on foot).

A great mountain bike tour to the pleasure palace of King Ludwig the second. If you have time, you should join the guided tour of the castle because it really is really impressive

Although initially not very spectacular, but you should take the time to calmly and take the lead because the top room is the hammer

The tour is easy to drive you are in the forest most of the time, but as soon as the forest clears up you have a fantastic view of the mountains.
At the Schachenschloß you have a super nice view.
The hut is quaint and offers good snacks and food.
I will definitely do the tour more often next year because the view is so beautiful.

Great tour. I drove it from Garmisch. I will save the steep climb at the beginning and only drive up from Elmau.

a simply brilliant tour that requires experience in the upper quarter, but the scenery is simply incredibly beautiful. It's also great when the Kieni invites you for a coffee- :) If you have problems driving downhill, you shouldn't do this tour. And be sure to inquire on the Internet when the hut is open, as a visit is definitely worth it. Unfortunately it is mostly closed. Then have fun with your bike trainer
