The Urfttalsperre in the Northern Eifel is a 58.5 m high, 226 m long and built from 1900 to 1905 dam in the southwestern part of the North Rhine-Westphalian district Euskirchen, which rebuilt the Urft to 2.16 km ² Urft Reservoir (Urftsee).
Its dam wall and the Urft reservoir, which at that time was the largest European reservoir, have been part of the Eifel-Rur water association since 1993.
