A great old town with many small streets and beautiful half-timbered houses!

  • Beautiful old town located directly on the Lahn. Good bike paths, many rest stops also directly on the Lahn.

  • The bike paths in Marburg are exemplary and there are also many shops where you can buy bike accessories. This is probably also due to the fact that the city has many students.

  • Marburg is definitely worth a stay. It was a bit difficult to get "up the mountain" due to construction work, but when you are "up" you will find a wonderful old town. Very good and well-kept half-timbering. In particular, the market square with the town hall is worth seeing.

  • A beautiful city with beautiful bike paths. And in the old town there are enough options to eat and drink. Marburg is always worth a bike tour 😉

  • Marburg an der Lahn is a worth seeing city with a wonderfully beautiful environment. The medieval old town, the Landgrave's Castle and many other sights are worth a visit. We also recommend the Lahn cycle path, which for me is one of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany. I particularly like the section from Wetzlar to the mouth of the Lahn into the Rhine.

  • Great atmosphere and thousands of steps. But it is worthwhile and it is also worthwhile to look at the individual buildings a little longer. You always discover new details.

  • Wonderful old university town with a lot of restaurants to spend money on.

  • The point marked by the highlight is less interesting. The part worth seeing is the old town (upper town) with the market square, castle and many half-timbered houses in the alleys. However, there are also a lot of stairs, so it's better to explore the Upper Town on foot.
