This observation tower is quite high - 32 meters. There are 180 steps to get to the platform at the top, but the view is very nice in all directions. The square is open daily from 9am to 6pm (October to April - from 9am to 4pm). The route up to the tower is easy. There are also garden benches for a break and a small parking lot. For people afraid of heights (like me) looking down from the platform can be an adventure.

The lookout tower between Hösseringen and Räber was built as a base for transmitting and receiving systems for mobile communications. In about 32 m there is a viewing platform that offers wonderful views. The tower was built from red clinker bricks that were specially fired for this building project.

Wide view over the landscape, beautiful brick-built tower (free admission!), Rest area at the bottom of the tower. There is also an orientation map here, because the tower starts and ends several circular hiking tours.
