The tower-like central building from 1910 was erected as a monument to the Prussian commitment to promote viticulture on the Moselle. The miniburg with eleven meters in diameter also served the vineyard workers as a shelter and offered as a viewing platform a beautiful view of the Avelertal and the Mosel valley.Today, the construction is in need of renovation and therefore closed.
