The "Raschpëtzer" were built in Roman times, around 130 AD and were maintained until at least around 267 AD. This is an underground aqueduc system that was used for the water supply by the Roman villa in Helsem.
The total length is estimated to be around 600m, of which only 340m is currently being researched.

500m from the parking lot Raschpëtzer between Stafelter and Walferdange. You can contact the municipality of Walferdange for a tour. But even so you get a good insight. Only the tunnel is closed.
