The Hegne Monastery, run by the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, occupies an impressive complex of buildings in the village of Hegne, part of Allensbach on the picturesque Lake Constance. The historic Hegne Castle forms the heart of the monastery and is surrounded by other buildings in which the Marianum schools, the Maria Hilf nursing home, the Hotel St. Elisabeth and the Theodosius Academy are located.
