The charming Bexadde Valley northwest of Damme is a natural paradise. It is a narrow eroded valley with a near-natural stream. The Bexaddetal can be easily reached from a hiking car park on Gramker Straße and from the car park at the former Benedictine monastery.
In the valley you will find a variety of different biotopes that offer a home to rare animal and plant species. For the Dammer, the valley has a high value as a local recreation area due to its proximity to the city (about 2 kilometers from the center) and its beautiful nature.
