The site where it all began. At the start of the Satmar adventure in 1972, the site only included a dune and an old saltworks. First, the generalist site Gatteville has, for several years, been devoted exclusively to the beginning of the life cycle.
Selected broodstock and oyster and clam larvae are produced there.
The Gatteville-le-Phare site also houses the company's head office, as well as the research and development unit
