The bike path is especially worthwhile as an MTB rider to make the track fast, without much effort. The path runs along an old railway track through the beautiful Chemnitztal and thus bypasses the busy valley road. The well-developed roadway does not have any claim to driving skills, but attention should be paid to oncoming traffic and above all the roads at intersections, which cross the cycle path with priority. On the weekend, many families with children are traveling, which does not yet have the safest driving style. So here is special consideration.

On the Chemnitztalradweg there is now also a snack bar between Wittgensdorf and Markersdorf at the weekend when the weather is nice. You cycle right past it and you can not miss it. There are definitely roster, which does not have a clue, today I just passed it.
