The 100-year-old Stubenberg power plant is still in operation with the machine sets from 1905. All other power plant buildings are also from the Wilhelminian era. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of this power plant has been expanded to a "power station".

It all started in 1905 with the power station in the Stubenbergklamm. From here, the region's electrification was promoted and its generators generated environmentally friendly electricity for 110 years. The old turbines and machines can still be viewed today, as the old power plant house and its facilities have been preserved and made accessible to the public in the form of a museum.
In 2015 the power plant was completely renewed and equipped with 2 Francis turbines and a residual water screw. It is a diversion power plant with an expansion flow of 6.5 m³ / s and a head of 23 m.

The power plant in the Stubenbergklamm was built in 1905 and from here the region was electrified by the Feistritzwerke. In 2015 the power plant was fundamentally renewed but the old building with the original generators and internals remained open to the public as a show power station.
The power station is easy to reach on a walk along the Feistritzklamm.
