I totally agree with David Haerle. You can not build a flow, that's all very bad. If you are already in the vicinity of Böblingen I would rather switch to the Ruckmarch Trail. Whereby I also like to hear about it from an official point of view, or would learn by means of signs if you can really ride the MTB on it, or if it is only considered correct because it is just what everyone is doing.
