The Holy Cross Hospice is located next to the Holy Cross Church below the western wall of the Heiligkreuzkofel. It is located in the area of the Gadertaler Abbey in South Tyrol, Italy. The easiest way to reach it is from St. Leonhard via a chairlift, which ends just below the place of pilgrimage.

The hospice is a base for climbing and hiking in the surrounding mountains. The nearest peaks are next to the Heiligkreuzkofel the tens and the nine. Via the south-eastern Ju dla Crusc and Forcela de Medesc you can cross the ridge towards Fanes.
