Hiking
The modern parliament building was built in 1959 and was designed by architect Vinko Glanz. This rectangular building is modeled after the buildings of classical antiquity and traces of realism are incorporated into the design. The magnificent two-story entrance portal of the building portrays an allegory of the working people and is a result of a collaboration between sculptors Zdenko Kalin and Karel Putrih.
