The church in Klein Wesenberg - a very special spiritual place. Its history dates back to 1187, with today's church being ceremoniously consecrated on March 27, 1885. It was built in the neo-Gothic style and some interior fittings from the old church could still be preserved, such as the special baptismal font, which was once acquired by the municipality from Lübeck Cathedral.
Other important objects in the interior are a grave slab of the knight von Volrad von Wesenberg from 1392 and the crucifix, which was donated by the Duke of Plön in 1675.
For church services, the congregation can enjoy the music of a romantic organ from the master workshop for organ building, Marcussen. And the listed stained glass windows with which the church is equipped create a very special atmosphere - above all the window in the chancel, which shows the resurrection of Jesus.kleinwesenberg.de/einrichtungen/kirche
