the beautiful location with the village pond, the water mill, the ducks and the elderly goose and of course the mill cafe and the delicious cakes!

In Meyenburg with its listed town center, the mill with a large mill pond was built by the Meyenburg lords on their own land at the beginning of the 14th century. In 1856 the old mill building was torn down and a new mill was built. As early as 1883, the water wheel was replaced by a more powerful turbine. Milling took place in Meyenburg until 1970, then there was major damage to the turbine shaft and the last miller, Johann Iggena, gave up operations.
Today the mill is used for exhibitions and small events.
