The suspension bridge "Am Hasennest" near Limmritz enables the Zschopau crossing of the bankruptcy mile circular hiking trail along the Chemnitz Riesa railway line.
It replaces a bridge that existed before 2002, which rested on 3 pillars standing in the river bed and was badly damaged during the flood in the year mentioned.
The new suspension bridge only has foundations outside the river bed and is around 5.50 meters above the water level.
