This place is very special. We went swimming in the morning when the tide was high and in the afternoon we used the section as a trail when the tide was low. Our destination was the island of Île de Tatihou. The path here leads over muddy passages, stony sandbanks, flat rock formations and even oyster farms. The island is a really cool destination. We visited the maritime museum and then explored the various gardens in the nature reserve. If the tide is not high enough, you can also arrive by amphibious vehicle. Get on board in Saint Vaast La Hougue and enjoy the 5-minute crossing. Another small detail: every year in August, the two-week music festival “Les Traversées Tatihou” has been held for over 20 years. Absolutely worth seeing!
