Stud keeper Robrecht submits an application to the “Royal Court” in Hanover, in which he asks his sovereign to grant help, since his herd of mares has grown to 69 heads. He and his family were no longer able to take care of the animals. So we do not know with certainty that from the beginning of the 17th century horses were bred in Neuhaus that were used exclusively in the princely stables in Hanover - namely horses "with strange colors": the white-born Hannoversche horse - pearl-colored and the yellow Isabella with black eel. The stud farm was about halfway up the road to Silberborn. Some of the remaining facilities can still be seen in the landscape today. In 1775 the stud farm was significantly expanded and moved to the current village post (part of which is today's guest house)
