Against flooding of the adjacent areas in storm surges in the early 70s, the barrage was built on the dry at the fault mouth, re-routed the river after its completion and dimmed the original Störlauf.
The disturbance hole is thus the remnant of the natural course of the sturgeon.
Here was a very idyllic natural harbor before Ivenfleth, in which the SSV Borsfleth has created berths.
The bridge should be 24 hours down, I had to wait 1 hour.
