The Sant Salvador is a true pilgrimage site for cyclists. Even those who do not have the Christian faith will find it here. In the anteroom of the monastery hang six world championship jerseys. She won Guillermo Timoner between 1955 and 1965 in the upright race of the Bahnradfahrer. Timoner comes from Felanitx at the foot of the mountain. His formerly small cycling shop in Felanitx has since been converted into a private cycling museum, in order to be able to exhibit more devotional elements of the cycling legend.

In addition to what can be seen in the church, one has from the mountain a wonderful view in the southeast corner of the island. Also worth the drive.

I always go up here when I'm in Majorca and I fill my water bottles right at the fountain. (Entrance monastery)

A panorama worth seeing, the famous fountain is unfortunately currently closed (maybe because of Corona?). In the café there are still drinks and very good cakes.

Beautiful, long and somewhat strenuous climb, which is rewarded with lots of great views at the top! Always one of the highlights of a cycling holiday for me...

Very mobile and not nearly as crowded as the Tramuntana passages in the west of the island
