From the guest house "Lechnerhof", 1586 m (with parking) the marking 66A and the sign "Sambock" following it goes on foot and forest roads usually only moderately rising to the tree line and then over mountain meadows past "On the plates" on the grassy ridge to the summit of the Sambock (2396 m). Grandiose view rewards the ascent of about 2-1 / 2 hours.
