At 2,117 meters, the Hundstein is the highest mountain in the Salzburg Slate Alps and the panorama is really impressive.
The view sweeps over the southern slopes of the Steinernes Meer and the Hochkönig. To the south you can see the Hohe Tauern with the Großer Wiesbachhorn and the Hoher Tenn.
