"former synagogue

The synagogue was built in 1876 for the then Jewish community in Neheim. Its head was the co-founder of the hunting club and honorary citizen of the city of Neheim, Noah Wolff.

The Nazis looted and desecrated the building in the so-called

Reich pogrom night from 9 to 10 November 1938.

After the Second World War, the building mainly served as a warehouse.

In 1984 it was fundamentally restored on behalf of the Axel Desch / Gerd Kloppsteck client community.

The Jägerverein Neheim acquired the former synagogue in 2001. It has been the cultural center of the club's life ever since. "
