Huguenot Tower (Hugenottenturm)

The Huguenot Tower offers a great view of Bad Karlshafen and the confluence of the Diemel and Weser. The baroque planned city can be well surveyed from here. A comparison with the model in the town hall is interesting!

Great view of the Weser and Bad Karlshafen! From here you can continue up the path to the Peter-Peter hut and from there a very nice path leads through the forest and later along the edge of the forest to Herstelle Translate the ferry and either walk back to Bad Karlshafen on the Weser Cycle Path, or in Würgassen up the cliff path past the Skywalk and then continue down the cliff path to Bad Karlshafen. Nice round about 8/9 km.

The short, steep ascent to the Huguenot Tower is well worth it. But you should also climb the tower and enjoy the view of the town and the Weser from above. A comfortable bench with a great view behind the tower invites you to linger.
