The town is dominated by the Castello di Rezzonico, a 13th century castle that is said to have been built by the della Torre family. The trapezoidal castle has three towers and several floors of living space. A tower is still inhabited today, and flowers grow in the undeveloped inner courtyard. As the castle is privately owned, it is rarely opened to the public. The paths around the castle, however, are beautifully laid out and lead to a small bay on the left and to the fortified bank area Rezzonicos with a dream view of Lake Como on the right.

Wonderful route - always along the old country road or directly on the lake.
