Hunshult is a nature reserve in Urshult municipality in Tingsryd municipality in Småland (Kronoberg). The reserve is 111 hectares and has been protected since 2006. It includes deciduous forest, orchards, swamps, pastures and a lake in the northernmost part of Sirkön in Lake Åsnen. The area borders the Bjurkärr nature reserve. Lake Åsnen has a valuable and species-rich bird fauna. The houses in the village of Hunshult are on the road that Sirkön crosses from north to south. There are many small fields in the forest. Parts of Hunshult are therefore nature reserves today, in which beech forests and hay meadows with apple trees are characteristic.Hunsult is also an old lonely farm on Sirkön in Lake Åsnen, Urshult municipality, southern Kronoberg county. The farm was originally on 3/4 mantal. It was divided into two courtyards in the 18th century and three courtyards at the beginning of the 19th century, each of 1/2, 1/8 and 1/8 mantle. The houses are concentrated with mansions from the mid-19th century, but have not formed a village.Source: sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunshults_naturreservat
