Hermitage of Saint Anthony of Peñíscola

The complex consists of the hermitage itself, the hermitage and the inn delimiting an inner courtyard from the parapet of which there is a beautiful panoramic view of the coast.
Every year on the Sunday after Easter Sunday, a traditional pilgrimage to this hermitage takes place from Peñíscola, accompanied by numerous festive events.

Very nice vantage point above Peniscola, the path is quite steep but no problem with an e-bike

The feast day begins with a pilgrimage to San Antonio Chapel on a hilltop four miles outside of town. On which the path is shortened and reveals the deep cultural roots of the inhabitants of the place. A mass is said in the chapel in honor of the saint, followed by a paella meal
