Tips
Very pleasant ridge that leads to the top of one of the most famous and popular mountains in Lombardy. The route is never difficult and allows you to have fun among easy rocky jumps, restful grassy stretches, some vertical wall and thin exciting stretches. The difficulties are maintained in the order of I and II degree. There is perhaps only one point where this level is exceeded, but this vertical wall with little grip can be circumvented.

The Piancaformia ridge is one of the access routes to the Grignone summit. This is the long northwest ridge that rises from Bocchetta di Prada.

A wonderful path always on the ridge along to the Grigna Settentrionale. It goes on a side sometimes steeply downhill, but still I felt (no experienced mountaineer, etc.) me on the way always safe. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are important, every now and then you have to climb over small rocks, but nothing for which I would find climbing experience or equipment important.
